Jeremy joined our staff in March of 2016, and he and his wife Amanda have been married since 2014.

Where did you grow up?

I was born at Marshall Medical Center North. I have lived in Arab, AL my entire life.

How did you become a Christian?

I became a Christian at 8 years old. I was at a VBS and I felt a feeling I had never felt before and that was the Holy Spirit showing me how I needed Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. Since that day, I haven’t been the same and I have experienced God’s grace from day to day. I felt God’s call into vocational ministry at the age of 17.

What do you do for free time?

I love to fish and read (not necessarily at the same time).

What’s your favorite movie?

O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Machine Gun Preacher, and Star Wars

What is your favorite Bible verse?

"I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20

What confirmed your call to Connect Church?

The love that Amanda and I have felt from the people at Connect has been overwhelming. Also, the fact that the church has a passion for the kingdom of God and to have the gospel be shared to those in the community and to the ends of the world.
